Take a walk along theme trails of the nature parks of Slovenia to find the answers to yet unasked questions. There are numerous theme trails awaiting us. Sights and distinctive features of the natural environment are revealed along the carefully planned and designed trails. The sights of nature parks are pointed out along the trail so you will not be bored. Just hit the road and visit the parks!

The trail leads you around the fresh water reservation with 6 bird watching hides and multi-storey central bird hide. Besides the possibility of exploring the underwater world in the basement of this central bird hide, there is also a historic exhibition with a wonderful panoramic view over fresh water and half salty part of the reservation and the town of Koper in the background.

Iška is a river of three faces. On its adventurous way, it flows through the wild Iški Vintgar Gorge, over the fertile Iški Vršaj and the wetland of Ljubljana Marsh. The trail takes you through Iški Vintgar Gorge up to Lipe where Iška flows into Ljubljanica. The trail mascot is Okljukec that can be found on all 11 info boards.

Škocjan Education Trail helps you to fully experience the distinctive features of Classical Karst in Škocjanske jame, at the location of UNESCO World Heritage, Ramsar and MAB. There are signs leading you from the information centre towards Šefinja's viewpoint and the village of Škocjan. Explanatory signs display the biodiversity of the underground, cultural heritage monuments and nature protection.

The trail takes us around Lera, covering the area of 294 ha and divided to the department of crystallization and department of thickening the sea water. On the 1.3 km long trail, one can learn about the medieval salt panning tradition. There is also a shop, visitors’ centre and a bar on the trail. The Logarska dolina Walking Trail leads to the interesting spots of the landscape park, starting at the source of the Črna River, past the Lumberjack's and Charcoal burner’s Cabin, past Palenk Waterfall, primeval farms and Fairy-tale Forest, past botanical and ethnological features to the majestic Rinka Waterfall.

The trail reveals springs coming out on the border of the material from the Iška stream and the Marsh. With help of the ground profile and info boards on the lookout we discover where, how and why these sources occur. The sediment at the basis of Sečovlje Saltworks were mostly brought by the river Dragonja. By depositing debris, the bottom at the mouth of the Dragonja River rose thus creating conditions to regulate the salt fields. According to the existing documents, alto (high), where the nature trail takes you, is also the oldest part of Saltworks. The whole trail is presented in detail on the mobile app Nexto.

We are guides along the "Fuks grabi" by a fox, revealing the forest of Goričko over 9 stations: the structure of black alder, the forest edge, the spruce monoculture, foxes’ den, forest restoration and hunters’ lookout, the growth of a tree, the soil structure and a well. The trail ascends 60 meters high and 2.4 kilometres in distance; it leads you back to the starting point.
